Utah water doesn’t have ideal fluoride levels, but topical fluoride works far better than drinking it. We’ll guide you on exactly what your child needs.

When should my child first see a dentist?

By age one, or within six months of the first tooth. Early visits prevent problems and keep things simple.

How often should kids go to the dentist?

Every six months—more often if they're cavity-prone.

Do baby teeth matter even though they fall out?

Baby teeth matter for eating, speech, and holding space for adult teeth. We only fix teeth that actually benefit your child—if it's about to fall out, we leave it alone.

What if my child is anxious or scared?

Totally normal. We use a gentle approach, explain things in kid-friendly terms, and give your child control whenever possible.

Do you offer laughing gas?

Yes, we use it every day. It helps kids relax and it wears off quickly.

Are your fillings really shot-free?

Yep. For many cavities, we avoid shots entirely by keeping the tooth cool with a diamond bur and using medicated materials that prevent sensitivity.

What type of fillings do you use?

We use only tooth-colored, BPA-free materials.

How can I prevent cavities at home?

Brush twice a day, floss nightly, use fluoride toothpaste, and limit frequent snacking and sugary drinks.

Is fluoride safe for my child?

Yes. Topical fluoride is extremely safe and the most effective way to prevent cavities.

Does my child need dental X-rays?

Only when necessary. We use ultra-low-dose digital X-rays and minimize exposure.

When should my child get an orthodontic evaluation?

Age 7 is ideal so we can spot issues early and avoid more complex treatment later.

Do you treat tongue or lip ties?

Yes. We use a gentle laser to release ties affecting nursing, speech, or function.

Do you place pediatric crowns?

When a tooth has a deep cavity, a crown protects it until it naturally falls out.

Sealants protect the chewing surfaces of molars and are one of the easiest ways to prevent cavities.

What should I do for a chipped or broken tooth?

Call us right away. Save the piece if possible. We can usually repair fractures beautifully.

What if we don't have dental insurance?

Will my child need sedation dentistry?
